"I started my trading career more than a decade ago at a hedge fund in North America, mentored by a Wall Street veteran and surrounded by senior traders. I saw profits that looked like phone numbers. I also saw the losses, the long hours and the discipline it takes to get there. A few years later I began trading my own capital, which I still do today.
When modern prop firms appeared, I knew funded trading was one of the most powerful ideas available to a trader: meaningful upside without putting the same amount of your own capital at risk. There are thousands of prop firms today, but very few were built by someone who has spent years taking losses and managing risk. I built The Floor 8 around what actually makes sense for traders.
The name carries two ideas that have followed me through my whole career. The Floor is a nod to the old trading floors that shaped how I see trading. The 8 stands for infinity, because there is always another level to reach."
